This collar is heavy duty and is not suitable for small dogs.

Materials: This collar is make from super heavy Biothane and has a belt buckle style closure. For maximum strength and durability, we only offer this collar in stainless steel or brass hardware at this time.

This is my second biothane collar. This one from get dirty feels much thicker. The hardware is of a much steonger more durable matterial. The handle is extremely useful for certain circumstances. I will buy again when the time comes.
